The New England Patriots will defend their Super Bowl title in Super Bowl LII, after overcoming a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20 in the AFC championship game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday. New England quarterback Tom Brady threw two touchdown passes to wide receiver Danny Amendola in the final period – a 9-yarder with 8:44 to play and a 4-yarder with 2:48 to play. New England played in the AFC title game for the seventh straight season. The victory sent Brady and New England coach Bill Belichick to the Super Bowl for the eighth time, and they’ve won five NFL championships together.
